A special keynote luncheon was held Tuesday afternoon at INTC. Karen Jones, director of fibers and feedstocks at Chemical Markets Associates Inc. (CMAI), presented “Pricing Dynamics of Raw Materials and Protection Strategies.” Escalating resin, fiber and energy costs are broadly impacting the nonwovens industry and Ms. Jones provided insight on underlying oil dynamics and anticipated future trends, focusing on polypropylene, polyester and cotton.
