Rieter Sells Spunlace Line In Russia

Equipment supplier, Rieter has sold a new spunlace line to the Russian company, Avangard. Avangard's core business is in hygiene products, but the company has decided to expand its business into the wipes market.
 
This is the second complete spunlace line Rieter to the Avangard company. The line will be equipped with opening and blending machines from Laroche, the Excelle card from NSC nonwoven, the JETlace series, the dryer from Rieter, and the winder from NSC nonwoven. Rieter's experience will enable Avangard to produce high quality  spunlace fabrics dedicated to wipes and the hygiene industry, according to executives. This new line will come into operation in the first half of 2009.
