New Company To Occupy Old PGI Site

Posted on December 4, 2007 @ 11:06 am

A manufacturer of wipes and other sustainable nonwoven products will occupy a Rogers, AR site formerly owned by PGI Nonwovens. Strateline Industries is partnering with Wagoner, OK-based Sustainable Solutions, which will supply regenerated cotton for use in their products. This will allow Strateline to produce the first-ever sustainably repurposed cotton nonwoven material.

The company will reportedly invest $63 million in the site and employ 150 people within the next three years. PGI closed the Rogers site in January as part of a North American plant consolidation plan.
