Tredegar is unveiling a number of innovations at INDEX08 including additions and enhancements to both its topsheets and elastics products. The company is introducing a premium topsheet called SoftAire designed to reduce skin contact area leading to optimal comfort and softness. The product is being touted as visually and tactilely attractive and maintains premium performance levels for acquisition, rewet and masking. A new grade is available.
Tredegar is also introducing new designs in the ComfortAire line of apertured laminate topsheets. ComfortAire is a highloft flexible nonwoven laminate that combines the softness of a nonwoven with the strikethrough and rewet performance of an apertured film.
In addition, Tredegar will unveil a new product within the ComfortFeel topsheet line. The new grade is a cloth-like, soft and drapeable film/nonwoven structure that offers a high performance level through the combination of selected raw materials and design.
