A highlight at RadiciSpandex’s INDEX booth is its new extruder packages with a tail to to allow spandex to be transferred without stopping the machinery. According to RadiciSpandex CEO Marty Moran, the elastomeric was the last component that required the diaper line to be stopped for transfer and this innovation solves this problem. The company is also showcasing colored spandex in smaller runs.
RadiciSpandex has grown its diaper business 40% during the past year and expects to repeat this success during the next 12 months thanks to its strong commitment to the diaper market which was reinforced with an investment in new capacity at the company’s Tuscaloosa, AL booth.
Sharing RadiciSpandex’s INDEX booth was sister company Tessiture Pietro Radici, which was launching its new Dylar UV Plus, a polyester spunbond nonwoven with outstanding UV properties.
